Royal Blunts has been around since 1995 and is known for its high-quality blunt wraps, which are made from tobacco-based and hemp materials. For over two decades, this brand has pushed the boundaries with unique flavors and products. Even though the Hemparillo line didn’t launch until 2018, it’s safe to say they were ahead of the curve on hemp wraps as well.

I first tried Hemparillo wraps back in 2020. Since then, I’ve smoked every flavor. Some were better than others, of course, but none of them were awful-tasting. However, I’m more into hemp wrap flavors than traditional, non-flavored ones, such as Naked. Over time, I ended up trying all the Hemparillo flavors, which is just enough to rank them from my best to my least favorite.

I don’t often smoke many of these flavors, especially on a daily basis, although I’ve tried them all. That said, I do have some favorite flavors from this hemp wrap brand, which is another best-seller here at Bluegrass Tobacco! Again, that doesn’t mean the others aren’t good, but if you already know which ones you like the most, in terms of brands and flavors, then why settle for anything less?

1. Hemparillo Mango Haze

Mango Haze is the clear winner for me. This flavor hits right away with a sweet mango note that tastes natural, not fake, and it holds steady throughout the whole blunt. Rolling is smooth, the wrap seals quickly, and the burn is slow and even. No harshness creeps in, even near the end. The fruity profile matches perfectly with hybrids or daytime strains. I’ve smoked more packs of Mango Haze than any other Hemparillo flavor, and it’s the one I recommend first.

2. Hemparillo Sweets

Sweets comes in second because it’s such a reliable smoke. The flavor has a light sugary edge that never overpowers the weed, but it’s noticeable enough to keep things interesting. Rolling is simple, and every pack I’ve tried has been fresh enough to seal easily without cracking. The burn rate is steady and doesn’t canoe, even when rolled loose. This wrap works well with any strain, making it a go-to option when you just want something smooth and dependable.

3. Hemparillo Cali Fire

Cali Fire earns its spot high on the list thanks to a flavor that’s different from the rest. There’s a bold, spicy edge that pairs well with gassy strains, making the smoke heavier. The wrap rolls tight without much effort and stays lit without burning unevenly. This flavor remains consistent throughout the session without becoming bitter near the end. When I want something stronger than the fruit-based wraps, Cali Fire is the one I reach for.

4. Hemparillo Grape

Grape is a classic flavor that Hemparillo pulls off really well. Sweetness comes through immediately and doesn’t taste artificial, which is a common problem with other grape wraps. Rolling is simple, the paper feels sturdy, and it holds a seal without drying out too fast. The burn is even, and the flavor keeps its strength all the way down to the end. I’ve tried grape wraps from many brands, and this one consistently ranks high because it combines reliability with a strong, recognizable taste that pairs well with almost any strain.

5. Hemparillo Banana

Banana turned out better than expected and sits comfortably in the middle of the lineup. The flavor is mellow and smooth, leaning more natural than candy-sweet, which makes it easy to smoke. Wraps come fresh out of the pack, are easy to roll, and burn at a steady pace without canoeing. The taste doesn’t fade out halfway through, which is what surprised me most. While not the boldest option, Banana works as a switch-up when you want something different but still reliable. I don’t keep it stocked all the time, but it’s one I’ll definitely pick up again.

6. Hemparillo Strawberry

Strawberry brings a refreshing, sweet flavor that tastes balanced from start to finish. The fruity note is noticeable but not overwhelming, letting the strain’s profile come through as well. Wraps seal easily, roll tightly, and burn slowly without splitting. The flavor remains consistent until the last few pulls, which makes it one of the smoother fruit options. This one works exceptionally well with hybrids or daytime strains. It’s not the most powerful wrap in the lineup, but it lands high because of its smoothness and easy smoking experience.

7. Hemparillo Blueberry

Blueberry hits with a sharper fruit flavor that makes it stand out compared to Strawberry or Grape. The taste leans slightly tart, and it blends with hemp in a way that gives a clean finish. Plus, these wraps are soft and fresh, making rolling quick and straightforward. Burn quality is steady, and the smoke doesn’t go bitter near the end. Blueberry isn’t in my regular rotation, but it’s always enjoyable when I grab it. For a wrap with more bite than some of the others, this one gets the job done well.

8. Hemparillo Berries

Hemparillo Berries have a lighter flavor profile that combines various fruit notes. The taste is subtle compared to the single-fruit wraps, but it’s still noticeable enough to give character to the smoke. Rolling is straightforward, and I’ve never had one crack or dry out too fast. Plus, the burn quality is even, which helps the flavor last throughout the session. I don’t smoke Berries as often, as I prefer stronger flavors like Mango Haze, but it’s a smooth option when I want something a little milder. Solid, just not my personal go-to.

9. Hemparillo Bubble Gum

Bubble Gum starts strong with a sweet flavor that’s different from the usual fruit lineup. The taste fades a little quicker than others, but it stays smooth enough to finish the blunt without losing too much. Wraps roll tight, hold a seal, and don’t split. Burn is steady without canoeing. While it’s not one I keep in constant rotation, I enjoy it when I want a change of pace from the regular fruity flavors. Bubble Gum won’t be everyone’s favorite, but it’s worth trying at least once.

10. Hemparillo Sugar Cane

Sugar Cane has a mild sweetness that works well for smokers who want something lighter. The flavor doesn’t overpower the bud, and it’s consistent from start to finish. Wraps roll easily, seal tightly, and smoke evenly. Burn quality is slow and steady, making this a dependable choice for longer sessions. Compared to bold flavors like Mango Haze or Cali Fire, Sugar Cane is more subtle, but that’s what makes it appealing sometimes. I don’t grab it often, but it’s solid when I want something smooth and understated.

11. Hemparillo OGK

OGK leans more traditional, and that’s precisely how it smokes. The flavor is earthy and unadorned, which isn’t bad, but for me, it lacks something, as I prefer flavored wraps. Rolling is easy, burn is reliable, and the wrap itself is consistent across packs. For smokers who want a straightforward hemp wrap without added sweetness, OGK makes sense. It’s not my favorite because I enjoy stronger flavors, but it still performs well enough to finish the pack.

12. Hemparillo Naked

Naked sits at the bottom of my list because it has no flavor, although this wrap is made from clean, plain hemp, so the quality is all there. The burn rate is smooth, rolling is easy, and it never cracks or dries out too quickly. That said, I usually reach for flavored options, so Naked is a little too basic for my taste. Smokers who like the natural hemp profile might prefer it, but for me, it’s just decent. Out of all twelve, this is the one I’d smoke the least often.
