After smoking Garcia y Vega cigars for a few years in the early 2000s, the brand introduced a new line of cigarillos called Game in 2007. I was all about then and still am to this day! However, on March 4th, 2015 (my birthday), we saw the introduction of Game Leaf Cigars, and the rest was history! Since then, I’ve tried every Game Leaf flavor that’s ever come out, including all limited edition flavors, which come and go. Currently, Game is marketing its new era of Game Leaf cigars, which come in a newer 3-pack and focus more on quality and flavor.

In my opinion, I don’t think there’s much of a difference, although they’re fresher, which I attribute to the new packaging; another win for Game, for sure! I’ve been smoking Game Leaf long before the new packaging, so if anything, they’ve only gotten better! As for my rankings of the best Game Leaf flavors, they’re based solely on my opinions and experience; therefore, you’ll likely disagree with me on the order, maybe not on all points, but we’re all opinionated people, and we all like what we like. On that note, here are my top picks, starting with my favorite flavor.

1. Game Leaf Cigarillos Sweet

Sweet ranks first because the flavor is well-balanced, smooth, and doesn’t overpower the tobacco. It has a mild sweetness that works well from start to finish and doesn’t leave a fake or lingering aftertaste. Easy to smoke, no off notes, and no sharp flavor drop-off as it burns. For anyone who wants a clean, sweet profile that complements the leaf rather than covering it up, this is the most straightforward and consistently enjoyable option across multiple sessions.

2. Game Leaf Cigarillos Dark

Dark offers a full-bodied tobacco profile without added sweetness or distracting flavors. It’s bold but not bitter, and the natural flavor holds steady the whole way through. Great for smokers who prefer something stronger without fruit or cream-style notes. It smokes evenly, handles well, and maintains its depth from light to finish. If you’re after a straight, robust tobacco taste that doesn’t come with extras, this one fits that role without coming off dry or overly harsh.

3. Game Leaf Cigarillos White Russian

White Russian delivers a mild, cream-like flavor that blends into the tobacco rather than sitting on top of it. It’s not overpowering, doesn’t taste artificial, and leaves no weird coating in your mouth after smoking. The profile stays even, and the finish is smooth. It’s a solid middle-ground option when you want a lighter flavor that still adds something noticeable to the smoke. Ideal for smokers who don’t want sweet or fruity but still want some added character.

4. Game Leaf Cigarillos Black Russian

Black Russian is deeper than White Russian and has more body while keeping the same smooth base. The flavor is heavier and richer, giving it a stronger finish that doesn’t go bitter. It’s not sweet or fruity, and it doesn’t carry any sharp edges, making it a solid choice if you want a bolder option that still smokes clean. The flavor doesn’t drop off mid-smoke and blends well with the leaf without clashing. Good for a more serious smoke.

5. Game Leaf Cigarillos Cognac

Cognac brings in a light alcohol-inspired note that doesn’t take over or feel out of place. It adds a subtle aroma and flavor without turning into something sweet or overly flavored. The balance is clean, and the taste remains stable throughout the burn. It’s an easy smoke with just enough added to make it different without being distracting. If you want a flavored cigarillo that keeps the tobacco upfront and doesn’t lean sugary or fruity, Cognac fits that use case.

6. Game Leaf Cigarillos Dark Rum

Dark Rum has a sweet and slightly spiced profile that’s noticeable without becoming too much. The flavor sticks around without fading halfway through and works best when you’re in the mood for something different from straight tobacco. It’s not as bold as Dark or as smooth as Sweet, but it falls in between in a good way. The burn is steady, and it smokes clean. Not an everyday pick, but a solid break from the usual when the mood fits.

7. Game Leaf Cigarillos Natural

Natural has no added flavors, no sweetness, and no extras. It’s just tobacco, plain and simple. For anyone who wants to use their own material or just prefers an unflavored smoke, this is the go-to. The flavor is neutral, the burn is even, and the leaf handles well. It doesn’t stand out in any one area, but that’s the point. It serves its role without getting in the way. It’s basic, clean, and does exactly what it’s supposed to.

8. Game Leaf Cigarillos Black Raspberry

Black Raspberry has a light berry flavor that’s upfront but doesn’t always carry through the full smoke. It leans sweet but not sticky, and it doesn’t leave a bad aftertaste. The profile feels thinner than other fruit blends, which can make it feel a little flat if you’re expecting something bolder. It’s not unpleasant, just not very strong. Good if you want a hint of fruit without going too far, but it’s not as memorable as the better flavors.

9. Game Leaf Cigarillos Wild Berry

Wild Berry is more aggressive in both scent and flavor. It hits harder on the fruity side, especially when the pack is freshly opened, but that strength drops off faster than expected. The flavor can come across a little artificial, and the finish doesn’t always hold. It’s not hard to smoke, and the burn is fine, but the taste doesn’t stay balanced. It works for variety or one-off use, but it’s not something most smokers would go back to regularly.

10. Game Leaf Cigarillos Peach Sangria

Peach Sangria is one of the weaker options. The flavor feels forced and doesn’t match well with the tobacco. The peach comes across more like candy than fruit, and the sangria part is hard to identify. It burns fine, and the leaf is still usable, but the overall flavor lacks balance and fades fast. I’ve tried it enough times to be sure it wasn’t a bad pack. It never improved. Out of all flavors, this is the one I avoid completely.

Only You Can Choose the Best Game Leaf Flavors

At the end of the day, only you can choose the best Game Leaf flavors, which you can only determine by trying them all, or at least the ones you think you might enjoy. As a smoker, I’ve tried them all, some I liked more than others, some I didn’t care for much, but still gave ‘em a shot, and if I didn’t, I wouldn’t be able to rank them as I have in this post. The truth is, though, I can’t tell you the best, but based on my personal experiences, this is how I would rank each flavor, so if anything, this is about discovery, an invitation to the bold and grown. All flavors are available here at Bluegrass Tobacco and ship nationwide.
