My first Dutch Palma, a Blue Dutch, or a Vanilla Dutch, as some used to call it, was back in 1995, which was 84 years after this cigar was first introduced, making Dutch Masters the oldest brand to offer flavored cigars! Since then a lot has changed since those days, back when people traditionally smoked these cigars. In fact, studies show that only 30% of Dutch smokers actually smoke \u2018em as they come; the other 70% are rolling blunts! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, I would say the real figures are probably more like 85% bud smokers, but then again, I could be wrong. Either way, more people choose Dutch Masters for its natural leaf wrapper, which is then used for rolling the best blunts. That said, 70% to 85% of the tobacco used to make these cigars gets trashed or dumped in a parking lot somewhere. I always found it amazing that \u00be of a product can be discarded and still be profitable; it says a lot about Dutch Masters tobacco leaves!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
